Technical Consultant – Energy Software Solutions

About the role

Volue is looking for a Technical Consultant to act as the trusted technical contact for energy customers, linking them with the development team to maximise the value of time‑series data on‑premises or in the cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for integration and design questions for key customers.
• Write requirements documents, functional specifications and manage projects from analysis through go‑live.
• Deliver updates, perform quality assurance, and provide 1st and 2nd level support for Volue Timeseries Hub.

Required profile

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, energy engineering or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in IT consulting, application support or customer projects, preferably in the energy sector.
• Fluent in German and English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience with REST interfaces and various file formats.
• Familiarity with SaaS environments is a plus.
