Team Lead In-House Travel Agency (Idefix)

About the role

Idefix Flight Travel GmbH, the in-house business travel and VIP luxury travel agency of Avcon Jet, is looking for a Team Lead in Vienna. The role combines designing exclusive travel packages for aircraft owners and VIP clients, managing bookings and partner contracts, leading a team and developing sales and communication strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement exclusive travel packages for aircraft owner and VIP clients, including seasonal and customised packages marketed internally and externally
• Maintain close contact with partner hotels and car rental agencies, negotiate contracts with new partners and ensure customers benefit from them
• Handle bookings for hotels, rental cars and flights and ensure fast, efficient processing
• Ensure crews arrive reliably for work, training and home, comply with travel guidelines, advise experts and check invoices
• Monitor bookings, invoices and payments, create key figures and reports for management
• Manage the duty roster, lead a team of experienced employees and develop sales and communication strategies for internal business travel and the VIP segment
• Negotiate contracts independently and build personal relationships with regular customers in the luxury travel segment

Required profile

• Relevant tourism training (e.g. IATA agency) and several years of experience in luxury and/or business travel
• In-depth knowledge of the travel sector and strong negotiating and sales skills
• Experience in costing, invoicing, post-costing and basic accounting
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Right to work and live in Austria or eligibility for a Red-White-Red Card
• Service-oriented, team player, solution-oriented and proactive

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and Amadeus
• Leadership and structured, methodical way of working
