Software Test Engineer – Automation & Quality Assurance

About the role

Is quality your passion? Are automated tests your expertise? As a Software Test Engineer you will develop automation solutions, optimise test processes and ensure the highest software quality for measurement‑device software.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct software testing for our measurement device software.
• Develop and maintain automated test cases.
• Create test specifications, test plans and test reports.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to guarantee quality.
• Analyse, track and support the resolution of defects.
• Optimise existing test processes and methodologies.

Required profile

• Completed education in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a comparable field.
• Experience in manual and automated testing (ISTQB certification optional).
• Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit or TestNG.
• Familiarity with agile development methods (Scrum, Kanban).
• Basic programming knowledge (Python, Java, C#) and understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Good German and English language skills.
