Software Application Developer Internship – Cryptographic Validation

About the role

You will join NXP's Competence Center Cryptography & Security to help automate a test framework for validating cryptographic implementations. Working in a distributed, international team, you will contribute to a web application used across all NXP business lines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features for an existing web application.
• Define and implement a validation concept for the application.
• Analyze, extract and translate requirements into automated test cases.
• Collaborate with multi‑site teams to ensure security‑related tasks meet certification standards.

Required profile

• Student in software development, information science, computer engineering or a related field.
• Strong software development background with proven experience in Java, JavaScript and C.
• Independent working style, willingness to learn and adapt.
• Good English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Available at least 16 hours per week for a period of 6 months or more.
