Senior Technical Business Analyst

About the role

Volue is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to help deliver SaaS solutions that orchestrate and automate energy trading. The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that complex, time‑critical processes are translated into reliable, future‑proof systems.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between business owners and development teams, turning business needs into actionable technical specifications.
• Gather, document, and validate functional and non‑functional requirements by analysing intricate energy‑trading processes.
• Collaborate with solution architects, developers and product owners to design scalable, integrated SaaS platforms.
• Define acceptance criteria, support testing activities and review deliverables to guarantee quality.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to align priorities and assess technical feasibility.
• Monitor implementation progress and ensure delivered solutions meet the defined business objectives.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and system integration concepts.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in requirements engineering and business process modelling.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Proactive mindset, capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in the energy sector or technical background is a plus.
• Fluent English; German language skills are advantageous.
