Senior Software Engineer, Telemetry Experience

About the role

Sentry is building the AI‑native future of application monitoring. The Telemetry Experience team turns raw telemetry into developer‑friendly debugging experiences, enabling developers to fix errors and performance issues before users notice.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end projects from scoping and design through rollout and measurement.
• Work across the full stack of the Sentry monolith: React and TypeScript on the frontend, Django and PostgreSQL on the backend.
• Partner closely with SDK and ingest teams to define telemetry contracts and ensure data arrives as expected.
• Collaborate daily with product managers, designers, and other engineers to improve the overall developer experience.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience building and shipping full‑stack web applications.
• Ability to own outcomes rather than tickets, driving ambiguous problems to completion.
• Obsessed with creating smooth, friction‑free experiences for developers.
• Excellent written English communication skills for cross‑team documentation and PR descriptions.
• Enjoys full‑stack work, from API design to UI implementation.
