Senior Consultant – Management Consulting

About the role

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Austria team in Vienna. You will shape client engagements from problem definition through implementation, working across industries and capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workstreams on client projects, structuring analyses and delivering actionable recommendations.
• Frame hypotheses, conduct quantitative and qualitative research, and develop high‑quality deliverables such as presentations, models and workshops.
• Coach junior team members and build trusted client relationships through clear communication and stakeholder management.
• Travel within the home market and internationally as required.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience at a top‑tier strategy consulting firm.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in German and English, with willingness to travel internationally.

Required skills

• Experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude.
