Senior Cargo Customer Services Agent (VIE)

About the role

The Senior Cargo Customer Services Agent supports Emirates SkyCargo’s customers by handling cargo reservations, coordinating transport, and providing timely operational updates. The role works closely with the Customer Services Supervisor and ensures high‑quality service across all touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Review incoming communications, respond promptly or direct enquiries to the appropriate team.
• Enter and manage cargo reservations accurately in the EK system and handle telephone queries professionally.
• Coordinate daily transport requirements for cargo bookings to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide post‑flight information and timely updates to customers.
• Maintain operational records, including ad‑hoc rates, flight files and tracking messages, and complete end‑of‑month filing.
• Monitor permanent cargo bookings, update information as needed, and supply spot rates when requested.
• Support the Customer Services Supervisor with day‑to‑day tasks and provide cover during absences.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of experience in cargo reservations or operations.
• Right to live and work in Austria.
• Fluent in English and German with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SITA‑based reservation systems (desirable).
