Senior AI Software Engineer

About the role

Based at Bosch Engineering Center in Linz, you will design and implement autonomous AI agents that automate complex business and engineering processes across the product life‑cycle. The role combines low‑code orchestration with rich‑code development to deliver highly scalable multi‑agent systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build and maintain large‑scale, reliable multi‑agent AI workflows.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs) with enterprise IT, engineering tools and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with domain experts, data engineers and developers to deliver production‑ready software.
• Mentor team members, review code and share knowledge across interdisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Several years of professional backend or full‑stack development experience.
• Hands‑on experience building agentic AI systems, including tool/function calling, memory management and retrieval‑augmented generation.
• Self‑reliant, proactive team player with a passion for clean code and robust architecture.

Required skills

• Python (AsyncIO, FastAPI, Pytest, typing, packaging).
• TypeScript/Node.js (plus Go as an advantage).
• Modular software design, data modeling (Pydantic, JSON Schema) and pandas.
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL), vector databases and RESTful API design.
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD), Docker, Kubernetes.
• Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud.
• Low‑code automation platforms (n8n, Microsoft Power Platform) and managed LLM services (Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI).
