Sales Operations Manager

About the role

Hitachi Vantara is looking for an experienced Sales Operations Manager to optimize and streamline its sales processes, boost sales team productivity and drive revenue growth. The role supports global sales initiatives and ensures operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain scalable sales processes, tools and best practices.
• Manage and administer the CRM system (e.g. Salesforce) to ensure data integrity, accurate reporting and actionable insights.
• Analyze sales performance data, identify trends, forecast sales and report to management.
• Work with sales leadership on territories, quotas and compensation plans.
• Deliver sales training on new tools, processes and methodologies.
• Support lead management, pipeline forecasting and deal progression.
• Act as liaison between sales, marketing, finance and IT, and identify automation opportunities.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and optimize sales enablement resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field; Master's preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations or a similar analytical role, preferably in a global technology company.
• Fluency in English; other languages such as German are a plus.
• Experience with sales methodologies (e.g. MEDPIC, Challenger Sale) and familiarity with Hitachi products is a plus.

Required skills

• CRM administration and optimization (Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus).
• Data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and project management in a fast-paced environment.
