Regulatory Trade Manager Austria (Pet Nutrition)

About the role

Royal Canin (Mars Pet Nutrition) is looking for a Regulatory Trade Manager to join its team in Bruck an der Leitha, Austria, with flexible hybrid working options. The role sits at the intersection of science, commercial growth and international supply chain agility.

Key responsibilities

• Unlock new international trade lanes and accelerate speed-to-market.
• Act as the regulatory lead for the high-throughput Bruck manufacturing site and its EU/UK co-manufacturing partners.
• Serve as the Regional Subject Matter Expert on Contaminants, Animal By-Products (ABP) and emerging animal diseases.
• Build strong relationships with veterinary authorities and trade associations such as the Austrian Veterinary Association (ÖHTV).

Required profile

• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Food Science, Veterinary Medicine, Chemistry or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Trade Policy or Trade Associations; a food/feed/FMCG background is preferred.
• Fluency in German and English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of EU Feed Law and export/import sanitary frameworks.
