Quality Team Leader QA Operations

About the role

The Quality Team Leader QA Operations will lead a growing QA Operations team covering microbiology, shop‑floor quality, and packaging material release. You will ensure GMP‑compliant oversight of manufacturing, microbiological control and batch release processes while acting as a key quality partner across production and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the QA Operations team in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Ensure compliant, timely release of packaging materials in line with GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Provide QA oversight for production activities, environmental monitoring, microbiological controls and contamination control measures.
• Manage complex cross‑functional quality topics, including deviations, investigations and ambiguous situations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support inspection readiness.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant scientific or technical field.
• Strong experience in Quality Assurance within pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
• Sound knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory requirements.
• Very good German and strong English communication skills.
