QC Specialist II (m/f/d)

About the role

As a QC Specialist II at Novartis, you will ensure that life‑changing medicines meet the highest quality standards before reaching patients worldwide. You will work in a highly regulated laboratory environment, supporting analytical equipment and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage analytical equipment throughout its lifecycle while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Execute laboratory activities and documentation in accordance with Good Practice standards and approved procedures.
• Review, compile and approve quality records and technical documentation within required timelines.
• Investigate laboratory events, deviations and out‑of‑expectation results to support timely resolution.
• Support inspections, audits, change controls and continuous improvement initiatives across the laboratory.

Required profile

• University degree in natural sciences or equivalent vocational training.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing quality environment.
• Practical experience working in a GMP‑regulated laboratory.
• Fluent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) knowledge.
• Experience with analytical equipment lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and quality systems.
