Industry Inspector & Business Developer

About the role

The Business Developer will deliver comprehensive industrial services to boost revenue, acquire new clients and increase profitability for the Industry Business Unit in the Vienna region.

Key responsibilities

• Present, promote and sell industrial services (inspection, testing, certification, technical consultancy) to existing and prospective customers.
• Perform cost‑benefit and needs analysis to match customer business requirements.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships across key accounts.
• Monitor market trends, identify opportunities and develop client portfolios.
• Coordinate sales efforts with internal teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
• Prepare commercial offers and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Analyse territory potential, track performance and report status.
• Maintain up‑to‑date CRM records and customer insights.
• Plan and execute customer‑relation activities such as seminars and exhibitions.
• Identify obstacles to sales targets and propose corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Clean Category B driving licence.
• 7‑10 years of B2B sales experience.
• Advanced English and fluent German.
• Target‑driven with a proven sales track record.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel 20‑30% regularly.

Required skills

• MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• CRM systems such as Salesforce.

What we offer

• Annual gross salary between €48,000 and €55,000, plus a performance‑linked bonus of up to 30%.
