Head of Finance, ITS Division (m/f/d)

About the role

SWARCO ITS is looking for a Head of Finance to oversee the financial strategy, planning and management of the ITS division. The role ensures financial stability, operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements, and plays an active part in shaping the finance organisation of the SWARCO ITS Group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and manage the ITS Finance team with full functional and disciplinary responsibility
• Work closely with the CFO and give the Executive Board clear, data-driven financial insights and strategic recommendations
• Develop and implement the finance strategy in line with the company's objectives and growth plans
• Own financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, and develop financial models and scenario analyses
• Optimise capital allocation, cash flow and profitability
• Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in line with IFRS, local GAAP and other accounting standards
• Oversee internal controls, corporate governance and audit readiness, and coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities and regulators
• Evaluate investment opportunities such as CAPEX, acquisitions and divestments
• Support ESG and sustainability reporting, and drive automation and digitalisation in the finance function

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling or a comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant experience in an international business environment
• Proven leadership experience building and leading finance teams
• Excellent written and spoken German and English
• Analytical, entrepreneurial and proactive, with strong business acumen
