Hardware Design Engineer – Global Product Development & Expat

About the role

Join Anton Paar to shape the future of advanced measurement technology. You will develop cutting‑edge electronic solutions and support products throughout their entire lifecycle, collaborating with international teams from concept to series production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate innovative electronic concepts together with interdisciplinary teams.
• Design, specify and create schematics for electronic circuits and PCB layouts.
• Implement PCB testing concepts and coordinate with manufacturing.
• Perform technical reviews and approvals of PCB designs with the layout team.
• Conduct verification and functional testing of circuits and assemblies.
• Support transfer of new products into series production, including system‑level and EMC testing.

Required profile

• Willingness to undertake a 1‑3 year international assignment after 1‑2 years onboarding in Graz.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
• Strong expertise in circuit design and verification, including knowledge of EMC, CE and UL standards.
• Hands‑on laboratory and workshop experience, especially in measurement technology and soldering.
• Excellent English (C1/C2) and German (C1/C2) language skills.
• High quality awareness, analytical thinking and a structured, solution‑oriented working style.
