About the role
Roche is looking for a freelance Scrum Master to support up to two teams within an Agile Release Train (ART) focused on chronic care solutions. You will help teams deliver value that directly impacts patient care while fostering a high‑performing, sustainable environment.
Key responsibilities
- Guide teams to achieve Sprint Goals, maintain clear backlogs, and align with ART priorities.
- Facilitate decision‑making, remove blockers, surface risks and impediments early.
- Coordinate dependencies and support ART‑level ceremonies.
- Use metrics to drive continuous improvement and evolve processes, roles, and tools.
- Coach teams on Agile, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe principles.
Required profile
- 5+ years experience as Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- 7+ years in software product development.
- Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, communication and change‑management skills.
- Technical background or degree in software development.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with Scrum, Kanban and SAFe (SAFe 6.0 certification).
- Ability to handle team and cross‑team conflicts and impediments.
