Forward Deployment Engineer - Applied AI

About the role

As a Forward Deployment Engineer you will work directly with business teams to turn AI concepts into practical, day‑to‑day solutions. You will identify improvement opportunities, prototype AI‑driven workflows and deploy them together with end users.

Key responsibilities

• Interview teams, map current processes and pinpoint AI use cases.
• Design AI‑powered workflows, configure prompts, instructions, connectors and agents.
• Build and test prototypes using realistic business scenarios, iterate and roll out successful solutions.
• Measure usage and impact on efficiency, quality, turnaround time and employee experience.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, security, AI governance and human‑in‑the‑loop principles.

Required profile

• Strong passion for AI and curiosity to explore new tools, models and use cases.
• Portfolio demonstrating AI projects, automations, prototypes or open‑source contributions.
• Analytical mindset with interest in business processes and pragmatic problem solving.
• Excellent communication, proactive attitude and ability to work across diverse teams.
• Fluent English and German at minimum B2 level.
