EHS Officer – Klagenfurt (all genders)

About the role

In this position you will support the Klagenfurt EHS Leader in all health, safety and environmental activities across the site’s offices and production areas. You will report to the EMEA Geography H&S Leader and work closely with the Klagenfurt EHS Leader and BP PH & HPM to coordinate EHS programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and implement global H&S standards, goals and programmes at the Klagenfurt site.
• Maintain and improve Philips’ Health & Safety Management System (ISO 45001) and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001).
• Support risk assessments for machinery, workplace evaluations and chemical management, including safety data sheet updates.
• Assist in handling workplace accidents, preparing training courses and consulting with the company nurse on health issues.
• Prepare presentations on occupational safety and environmental management and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Environment or related technical field.
• More than 5 years of EHS‑management experience, preferably in medical devices, health‑tech or pharma.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, auditor qualification preferred.
• Experience with legal compliance, audits, risk assessments and managing safety and environmental programmes.
• Fluent English and strong digital expertise.
