Digital Biomarker Scientist – Parkinson’s & Huntington’s (Freelance)

About the role

Roche’s Digital Biomarker and Remote Patient Management Chapter is seeking a freelance scientist to advance Navify digital biomarker solutions for Parkinson’s and Huntington’s disease. You will work from the Vienna office, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to translate sensor data into clinically meaningful endpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Provide scientific guidance for data‑analysis projects and support customers during pre‑ and post‑sales phases.
• Communicate scientific results at conferences, in white‑papers, and peer‑reviewed publications.
• Develop core scientific messages for product marketing and contribute to regulatory discussions.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or equivalent in Life Sciences with at least 5 years of experience in pharma and digital health.
• Proven track record of publishing in high‑impact, peer‑reviewed journals.
• Deep knowledge of Parkinson’s and Huntington’s disease etiology, symptomatology, and drug‑development landscape.

Required skills

• Comprehensive understanding of clinical endpoint landscape for the target diseases.
• Expertise in digital biomarker development and digital clinical outcome assessments.
• Experience with regulatory interactions (FDA/EMA) regarding novel clinical endpoints.
