Area Sales Manager – Western Austria

About the role

Do you have a technical or natural science background and want to start a career in sales, or take the next step? If you enjoy working independently, being on the road, and creating real added value for customers with innovative laboratory solutions, this role could be right for you. You will manage an exciting sales territory in Western Austria, supporting research, industry and quality‑control customers with high‑quality laboratory instruments that set international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Actively build new customer relationships and further develop existing ones.
• Present innovative measuring and analysis equipment directly on site.
• Provide technically sound advice and co‑create solutions with customers.
• Accompany projects from initial contact through to successful completion.
• Introduce ideas to strategically develop the territory.
• Represent Anton Paar at trade fairs and events.

Required profile

• First experience in sales or a customer‑oriented role (advantageous).
• Strong technical interest.
• Enjoy working with people and building long‑term relationships.
• Self‑initiative, organizational skills and a structured work approach.
• Willingness to travel within the region (driver’s licence class B).
