Warehousing & Distribution Manager – Regional Distribution Center

About the role

You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and continuous improvement of warehouse and distribution activities across multiple markets, while collaborating with regional and international stakeholders. The position supports the Regional Distribution Center in Bratislava and plays a key role in Continental's international supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operational warehouse and distribution activities within the assigned markets.
• Steer and develop partnerships with external logistics and transportation service providers.
• Monitor warehouse performance through KPIs and conduct regular operational and quality reviews.
• Ensure high service levels, inventory accuracy and efficient material flow processes.
• Identify and implement improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Coordinate collaboration between regional markets, manufacturing plants, Logistics EMEA, Supply Chain functions and logistics partners.
• Act as the main interface for logistics‑related topics while ensuring compliance with legal and internal requirements.
• Plan and conduct warehouse, facility and quality audits.
• Develop and enhance reporting structures and KPI frameworks covering inventory, availability, service performance and logistics costs.
• Support budgeting and investment planning activities and lead cross‑functional logistics optimisation projects.

Required profile

• Higher education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain management, distribution or demand management.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, distribution processes and inventory management.
• Experience with logistics systems and ERP solutions, preferably SAP SD, SAP EWM and SCOR/SST processes.
• Proven project‑management and process‑improvement experience.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders in an international matrix organisation.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Business‑fluent English; German and additional languages (Slovak, Czech, Hungarian) are an advantage.
