Strategic Buyer – Procurement & Sourcing

About the role

Solarpro, a leading clean-energy integrator, is seeking a motivated Strategic Buyer to shape its purchasing strategy and ensure cost-effective, high-quality supply for renewable-energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement Solarpro’s purchasing strategy to meet cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Maintain and update an Approved Vendor List, building a reliable supplier network.
• Lead negotiations, draft contracts and manage supplier agreements.
• Prepare cost analyses, support bidding processes and evaluate commercial outcomes of projects.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and claim over-costs or deficiencies when necessary.
• Recommend supplier awards based on ESG compliance, engineering, quality and commercial terms, ensuring customer requirements are met.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on technical, financial and legal aspects of supply.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of procurement experience, preferably in strategic sourcing.
• Proven negotiation, contract management and cost-analysis capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, ESG principles and quality-system accreditation.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience working with international suppliers and global supply chains.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and solid decision-making skills.
