Senior Cloud Engineer

About the role

Machine Learning Reply Austria is looking for Cloud Engineer consultants with a strong technical background to work on leading‑edge technology projects for a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development.
• Use Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM) to provision and manage cloud and on‑premise infrastructure.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus/Grafana, Splunk, Datadog) to ensure reliability and performance.
• Facilitate collaboration between development, operations and other teams for smooth project delivery.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Required profile

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a comparable field.
• Excellent German skills, good English skills and willingness to travel if required.

Required skills

• Programming languages: Python, Go, Bash/Shell, Ruby.
• Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift.
• Configuration management: Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
• Version control and CI/CD: Git, CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
• Major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure.
• Monitoring and logging: Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog.
• Agile development concepts: Scrum.
