SAP EWM Support Consultant - Manufacturing & Logistics

About the role

D-ploy is looking for a SAP EWM Support Consultant for its key projects on innovation tools, training and experiences. The role provides BAU support for SAP EWM and manufacturing-related logistics processes across LDC live sites, mainly Austria and Schaftenau. It is initially fixed-term until the end of September 2027, with an expected extension, and only a freelance cooperation is available.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming tickets, defects and change requests through service management tools
• Collaborate with GPOs and business stakeholders to validate requirements and define actions
• Analyse issues and propose solutions together with local business teams, LDC Core, Adopt, TD, GPO and AMS teams
• Support and implement approved change requests in SAP EWM and related systems
• Participate in CAB meetings to present and obtain approval for system changes
• Work with design, adoption and BAU teams to ensure stable support and continuous improvement
• Support logistics operations for own warehouse and manufacturing activities, and ensure collaboration between SAP and satellite systems such as MES and local warehouse systems

Required profile

• Strong experience with SAP EWM and manufacturing logistics processes
• Solid understanding of warehouse systems (WHS) and Austrian site operations, especially Schaftenau
• Proven knowledge of Drug Substance (DS) and Drug Product (DP) processes in pharmaceutical/manufacturing environments
• Prior involvement in SAP transformation or implementation projects
• Experience supporting BAU activities, including ticket handling, defect management and change requests
• Ability to work remotely with occasional on-site presence in Austria
• Candidates must declare a criminal record extract not older than three months
