Payroll Specialist - Austrian Payroll

About the role

SD Worx, a European provider of payroll and HR services with offices across Europe and in Mauritius, is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join its SAP Solutions team. The role covers Austrian payroll, with a permanent contract after a 3-month probation period.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage the full payroll process from A to Z for clients, working under different collective agreements
• Act as first point of contact for labour law, social security and tax questions, solving complex issues and communicating with authorities, health insurance providers and tax offices
• Handle payroll administration and prepare reports and statistics
• Take part in client projects and support payroll transitions and implementations
• Share knowledge with junior colleagues and support their onboarding and training

Required profile

• Previous experience in Austrian payroll administration, with a structured way of working
• A completed payroll qualification or certification
• Excellent German and good English
• Service-oriented mindset, proactive attitude, flexibility and team spirit

• Solid MS Office skills
