Networking Account Manager (f/m/d)

About the role

HPE Networking is looking for an Account Manager based in Vienna, Austria. The role is hybrid, with an average of two days per week spent in an HPE office. You will be responsible for a defined set of customers in Austria and drive account penetration in existing and new strategic accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Drive account penetration in existing and new strategic accounts
• Coordinate internal resources and external partners to deliver solutions and act as a trusted advisor
• Build relationships with customers and partners at all levels and identify buying influencers
• Use CRM tools to share knowledge, create synergies and improve business predictability
• Achieve quota through individual targets aligned with Networking team objectives
• Plan handovers and use technical consultants and the channel to ensure customer satisfaction and brand integrity
• Share best practices and seek continuous improvement

Required profile

• University degree in computer science, business administration or equivalent
• More than 3 years of sales experience selling products, solutions and services
• Experience selling IT infrastructure solutions to enterprise customers
• Knowledge of IT sales and markets in networking and security technology
• Experience in sales cycle management, business planning, execution and control
• Native-level German and fluent English
