Events & Groups Manager (m/w/d)

About the role

The 25hours Hotel at the MuseumsQuartier is looking for an Events & Groups Manager who takes overall responsibility for its Events & Groups department. Together with the team, you ensure the smooth execution of all events while keeping a close eye on budgets, KPIs and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage events, seminars, internal functions and customer partnership projects
• Work closely with the internal Food & Beverage departments, covering cost calculations, planning and final billing
• Manage key accounts with the Sales Manager, build long-term client relationships and contribute to new business development
• Implement improvements after each event and handle customer complaints professionally
• Motivate the team, run performance and development reviews, raise awareness of budget responsibilities, celebrate team successes and manage staff scheduling

Required profile

• Several years of experience in the events and catering industry, with initial leadership experience
• Ideally previous experience in the hospitality sector
• Positive attitude, hands-on approach and ability to stay calm under pressure
• Independent, well organised, reliable and good communicator
