Digital Biomarker Scientist – Parkinson’s & Huntington’s Disease (Freelance)

About the role

Join Roche's Digital Biomarker and Remote Patient Management Chapter to advance digital biomarker solutions for Parkinson’s and Huntington’s disease. You will work from the Vienna office, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to shape innovative endpoints for clinical trials and care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide scientific guidance for data‑analysis projects related to digital biomarkers.
• Support customer interactions during pre‑ and post‑sales phases.
• Communicate scientific results at conferences, in white‑papers, and peer‑reviewed publications.
• Develop core scientific messages for product marketing.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or equivalent in Life Sciences with at least 5 years of experience in pharma and digital health.
• Proven record of publishing in high‑impact, peer‑reviewed journals.
• Deep knowledge of Parkinson’s and Huntington’s disease etiology, symptomatology, and drug‑development landscape.
• Extensive experience in digital biomarker development and clinical endpoint challenges.

Required skills

• Experience developing digital biomarkers, digital clinical outcome assessments, and digital endpoints.
• Familiarity with FDA/EMA regulatory interactions concerning novel clinical endpoints.
