About the role

Lam Research is seeking an experienced accountant to join its Global Finance Group in Austria. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and leading a small accounting team to ensure compliance and high‑quality reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general accounting tasks including debtor/creditor accounting, asset management, and bank month‑end closings.
• Support internal and external audits and act as the primary contact for tax advisors and auditors.
• Prepare audit documentation and monthly tax declarations.
• Lead a small accounting team of two, coordinating daily tasks and providing guidance.
• Review accounting entries and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in additional finance projects and assignments as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or 3 years with an Accountant exam or equivalent.
• Strong accounting education and successful completion of an Accountant exam.
• Proficiency in German (professional) and English (fluent).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
