About the role

Freshfields is hiring associates in Vienna to work with clients across its various practice groups. The position suits candidates who want to join a dynamic, motivated team in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work with clients across the firm's practice groups, including Antitrust, Competition & Trade, Banking and Finance, Corporate/M&A, Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property, Tech & Data, People & Reward, Public Law, Real Estate and Tax.

Required profile

• Austrian legal studies completed with above-average results.
• Excellent English and German skills.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, attention to detail and dedication to quality legal advice.
• Experience abroad or specialised knowledge in these areas (for example through an LL.M., dissertation, internships, university or research assistant roles, or law firm experience) is advantageous but not required.
