Treasury Expert – Consumer Payment Solutions

About the role

As a Treasury Expert focusing on Consumer Payment Solutions, you will play a key part in shaping and optimizing ALDI SOUTH’s treasury landscape. You will work across multiple regions, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to enhance money‑management processes for card, wallet, and cash payments.

Key responsibilities

• Support major Group Treasury projects by evaluating, implementing, and optimizing treasury solutions together with internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan, implement, and continuously improve money‑management services covering card, wallet, and cash payment channels.
• Lead implementation activities, including contract preparation, pricing negotiations, offer reviews, and proactive research on cash collection, card acquiring, and corporate guarantees.
• Assist in bank relationship management, coordinating with banking partners to improve service levels, negotiate terms, and support international Treasury operations across various regions.

Required profile

• Proven professional experience in a payment‑related field or the financial industry.
• Degree in Economics, Business, Financial Services, or a related discipline.
• Experience in Corporate Treasury and consumer payments, preferably within retail or international companies.
• Enthusiasm for consulting and negotiating with international suppliers and service providers across all ALDI SOUTH countries.
• Excellent English; German language skills are a plus.
• Independent, conscientious, flexible, and organized work style.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities, with a talent for presenting concepts to diverse stakeholders.
