Senior Quality Manager – Aviation

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Quality Manager for our Aviation division. You will lead the maintenance and further development of our quality management system, ensuring compliance with Bosch internal standards and aviation‑specific requirements while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the quality management system, adapting processes, procedural instructions and checklists to Bosch internal and aviation‑specific requirements.
• Record, evaluate and document product and process quality data (e.g., 8D reports) and report findings to management with improvement suggestions.
• Monitor and support quality activities at project level, including coaching on risk‑management methods and conducting initial sample inspections.
• Prepare and moderate management evaluations and conduct internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Coordinate quality‑assurance contracts with customers and suppliers, and support external audits by customers or authorities.
• Lead product change management and act as the QM representative with release and escalation rights, reporting directly to the Board of Management.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with holistic approach and strong stakeholder relationship skills.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and quality audits, preferably in aviation, automotive or a Bosch environment.
• Certified auditor according to EN 9100 or ISO 9001 and a passion for quality excellence.
• Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a comparable technical field.
• Fluent in German and English.
