Senior Product Manager – Securities & Commodities

About the role

As a Senior Product Manager for Securities & Commodities you will own the end‑to‑end product strategy and execution for Bitpanda’s core traditional financial offerings, from equity trading to Real‑World Assets. You will translate complex capital‑markets infrastructure and regulatory requirements into simple, transparent trading experiences for millions of European retail investors.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end product flows across securities and commodities, including equities, margin trading, and Real‑World Assets.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to define specifications, user flows and delivery timelines, driving high shipping velocity with Engineering and Business Operations.
• Connect front‑end investing interfaces with complex back‑end technical, operational and clearing infrastructure to align with business strategy.
• Translate regulatory (e.g., MiFID II) and market clearing requirements into intuitive, trust‑building retail user experiences.
• Partner with UX, Design and Data teams to continuously optimise product performance and user engagement.

Required profile

• 4+ years of product management experience building retail brokerage, trading or investing platforms, preferably in a MiFID II or heavily regulated fintech/banking environment.
• Solid understanding of capital markets, order execution flows, clearing and settlement, corporate actions and taxation.
• Practical knowledge of market infrastructure such as stock exchanges, market makers, custodians and institutional intermediaries.
• Data‑driven and analytical mindset to inform product strategy.
• Exceptional communication skills to translate complex financial, technical and regulatory topics into actionable product direction.
