Senior Financial Controller – German language required

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to join our finance team in Austria. The role focuses on controlling, reporting and strategic financial analysis for assigned business units, supporting decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare executive management overview reports at the LBU level.
• Analyse key financial indicators (order entry, revenue, EBIT, EBITDA, TWC) on month‑to‑date, year‑to‑date and prior‑year bases.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including coordination with global finance teams.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting and long‑term scenario modelling for business development.
• Perform project controlling, including budget tracking and variance analysis.
• Book financial entries such as accruals, revenues, costs and true‑ups in the ERP system.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in finance, preferably in a corporate or telecom environment.
• Strong analytical, ownership and time‑management capabilities.
• Advanced communication and organisational skills.
• Fluent in German (minimum B2) and English (minimum B2).

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
• Expert level knowledge of SAP.
• Intermediate experience with Power BI.
