Order Entry Clerk – Individual Contractor

About the role

The Order Entry Clerk will support the Sales and Order Entry Unit of the United Nations Office at Vienna. Working onsite at the Vienna headquarters, the contractor will ensure timely processing of incoming correspondence, orders and remittances, and provide high‑quality client service in both English and German.

Key responsibilities

• Open, sort and distribute incoming mail and cheques, and record them in the MegaStamp system.
• Enter customer orders and remittances accurately, update accounts, and forward cheques to UNPA colleagues.
• Proofread texts, documents and letters in English and German.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and letter in both languages.

Required profile

• High school diploma with limited administrative experience in an international organization.
• Good knowledge of UNPA philatelic products and client‑oriented professionalism.
• Flexibility in working days and ability to work independently.
• Fluency in oral and written English and German; knowledge of another UN language is an advantage.
